Hey there! My name is Moriah and I own Chrome Coffee, a coffee company located in the East Bay Area. I love coffee, how it brings communities together, and the unique processes that create a delicious cup.
Coffee became something that brought my family together whether that was starting out the day together or having a night cap after our desserts during holidays; coffee was always on the table. It wasn’t until I went to college that I really got into the specialty coffee market and tried specialty roasted coffee with fruity undertones and lighter roast profiles. Making coffee brings me joy and I love to see people’s faces light up when they take the first sip. Coming up with unique drink recipes is something I love to do because I get to introduce new flavors and ways to taste coffee.
I had this idea of opening a coffee shop but I didn’t know where to start. I started to see people who had their own unique take on a mobile coffee business and I soon adopted my own. I am so grateful to be serving my hometown and getting people their coffee fix to get through the day or to sip and catch up with friends. We built our coffee cart (which you can see in our photo gallery!), and had been operating our private events and pop-ups with that. In January of 2021, Chrome Coffee acquired a cute seafoam coffee trailer and started serving our community!
In 2022, I had a unique opportunity to open a tiny coffee shop in the Rivertown area of Antioch. We grew our customer base at a new brick and mortar spot in conjunction with operating our trailer multiple times a week with different events. As our clientele grew, so did their desires for Chrome Coffee to come further out into the East Bay! We had a new opportunity to open another tiny coffee shop in the heart of Downtown Brentwood in October of 2023. Once we opened that location, further doors unlocked to open a larger coffee shop with indoor seating! In the summer of 2024, we finally opened the door to our Downtown Oakley coffee shop where we plan to have open mics, host gatherings, and provide plenty of space for people to visit.
I am so incredibly blessed with the success of Chrome Coffee, however, it would not be where it is at today without my support system. I have been fortunate to have my parents who have been with me through all the phases of Chrome Coffee; my staff members are consistently working hard to provide a great product and positive experience; our community is incredibly supportive of small businesses and gracious when we need them to be. All in all, it takes a village to keep Chrome Coffee going! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about my story and I hope to serve you soon!
Meet me for coffee,
